On July 29, 2023, one of the brightest sporting events of the year took place in Burabai-the amateur swim challenge PikeMan.
Athletes and amateurs from all over Kazakhstan gathered to test their strength on Lake Shchuchye, at a distance of 3 km.
The main goal of "PikeMen" was to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop tourism and attract attention to the ecological concept.
"PikeMen" is becoming a traditional summer swim for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. More than 250 participants of different ages took part in this sporting event, which confirms its popularity and importance in the sports culture of the region.
The swim was successfully held thanks to the support of the Akimat of the Akmola region, Burabai Damu LLP of the UDP of the RK Department of Sports and Culture and other partners.
