Excursions in the Shchuchinsk-Borovskaya resort area were organized for participants of the Biathlon World Cup, employees of the Burabai Damu enterprise of the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Representatives of 40 countries take part in the World Championship, which takes place in the city of Shchuchinsk. Between competitions and trainings, foreign guests did not miss the opportunity to visit local attractions and enjoy the beauty of the pearl of Kazakhstan. As it turned out, all the athletes were in Burabay for the first time.
Foreigners admired the nature of Burabay and Kazakh hospitality. The guests listened to the guides with interest and willingly shared their impressions:
- I could not even think that I would end up in Kazakhstan. I didn't know much about Kazakhstan, but when I got here and learned about Kazakhstan, I was convinced that this is a wonderful country. Burabai is very similar to Canada with its forests and lakes. It's very beautiful here. There is a language barrier, it's hard to communicate at times, but I enjoy my stay here and hope to come back here again someday," said Tyler Brinwood, a Canadian athlete from Vancouver.
A member of the Italian national team Pietro noted that Burabay has become a special place for them:
- At the moment we have 2 medals, although the Championship will last until March 12. Therefore, we will return to Italy with very good and warm memories of Kazakhstan. We are happy to meet very kind and hospitable people. Today we were shown the magnificent nature of this resort place. We really liked it in you! - admitted the Italian.
